About
A practitioner-led academy, built to close a specific gap
CN Academy trades as Cyber Nanban. We teach engineers to secure the AI systems their organisations are already running.
Why this academy exists
Organisations across India are deploying AI into production faster than anyone is securing it. Models are being connected to customer data, internal systems and payment flows by teams who were never asked to threat-model them — because until recently, nobody had to.
The available answer has been a recorded course. Watch fourteen hours, take a quiz, receive a certificate. That model can teach vocabulary. It cannot teach judgement, and judgement is the entire job. You do not learn to respond to an incident by watching someone else respond to one.
CN-CAISE was built to close that gap: a live, instructor-led certification where engineers work through the failures on real systems, guided by someone who has handled them.
Mission
To make Indian engineers capable of securing the AI systems their organisations are already deploying.
Vision
To become India’s definitive academy for AI security — the place a security engineer goes when the field moves, and the place an enterprise goes when its team has to move with it.
Values
What we hold to
Practitioner-led
Taught by people who have done the work, not people who have read about it.
Honest
We state limits. We do not promise jobs, and we do not publish numbers we cannot source.
Rigorous
Hands-on, assessed and current. The difficulty is the point.
Respectful
We assume intelligence, not knowledge. No condescension, no over-explanation.
Accountable
A real entity, reachable through one published support channel, with policies you can read before you pay.
Who we do not serve
Stated as firmly as who we do. This is what keeps the rest honest.
- Exam-dump seekers
- Certificate collectors
- People looking for shortcuts
- Anyone unwilling to practise
CN-CAISE is new. Deliberately.
What is not new is the person teaching it, or the work behind him. The intent is not one certification — it is an academy, with a catalogue of programmes and private cohorts for enterprise teams. This is where that starts.
The community around Cyber Nanban has grown to 60,000+ community members. That is a community, not a count of people we have taught — the two are different and we will not blur them.
