Why this academy exists
Organisations across India are deploying AI into production faster than anyone is securing it. Models are being connected to customer data, internal systems and payment flows by teams who were never asked to threat-model them — because until recently, nobody had to.
The available answer has been a recorded course. Watch fourteen hours, take a quiz, receive a certificate. That model can teach vocabulary. It cannot teach judgement, and judgement is the entire job. You do not learn to respond to an incident by watching someone else respond to one.
CN-CAISE was built to close that gap: a live, instructor-led certification where engineers work through the failures on real systems, guided by someone who has handled them.
The problem
AI systems fail in ways traditional controls were not built to catch
The attack surface is real, it is already in production, and the people responsible for defending it were trained for a different problem.
A prompt is an input nobody validates
Untrusted text reaches a model that treats instructions and data as the same thing.
A model is an asset nobody classifies
Weights, prompts and fine-tuning data sit outside the inventory the security team maintains.
A retrieval pipeline is an exfiltration path nobody has mapped
Documents flow into context windows without the access controls that governed them at rest.
An agent is a privilege boundary nobody drew
Tool-calling systems act on the world with permissions no one scoped for an autonomous caller.
Why us
Practitioner-led, and honest about what that means
AI security as the discipline
Not a chapter bolted onto a cyber syllabus. The whole programme is the problem.
A cohort, not a video library
Live sessions with a practitioner. If you want recorded content at your own pace, we are the wrong choice.
Two decades of defending real infrastructure
Banking, government, telecom and manufacturing — sectors where the consequences were immediate.
Mission-based learning
Tasks that mirror real incidents, assessed properly. A credential everyone passes is worth nothing.
CN-CAISE is new. Deliberately.
What is not new is the person teaching it, or the work behind him. The intent is not one certification — it is an academy, with a catalogue of programmes and private cohorts for enterprise teams. This is where that starts.

How you learn
A cohort, not a video library
Live instructor-led sessions
Scheduled, attended, and answerable in real time. Questions get answered when you have them.
Mission-based learning
You work the incident rather than watching a recording of one.
Hands-on labs
Real systems, real misconfigurations, real consequences in a contained environment.
Small cohorts
Access to the instructor is the product, so the group stays small enough for it to be real.
Industry-current curriculum
The threat landscape moves. The syllabus is revised against what is actually being exploited.
Career guidance
Direction, review and honest feedback. We do not guarantee jobs — nobody credible does.
Inside the programme
What you will be able to do
The full curriculum is published in detail on the programme page. Nothing is hidden behind a form.
Threat-model an AI system end to end, from prompt to tool call to data store
Identify and defend against prompt injection in production applications
Secure retrieval pipelines so document access controls survive the context window
Scope privilege boundaries for agentic systems that act on real infrastructure
Run an AI red-team exercise and write up findings an engineering team can act on
Respond to an incident involving a model, and know what evidence to preserve
Your instructor
Two decades securing infrastructure that millions depend on
Sakthi Prasanna K
Lead Instructor
Sakthi Prasanna K has spent over two decades in cyber security leadership and operations, advising organisations where a failure is measured in more than downtime.
His work spans banking, government, telecom and manufacturing — environments with real regulatory weight, real adversaries, and no tolerance for a theoretical answer. That is the experience CN-CAISE is built from.

What people say
People he has mentored, in their words
CN-CAISE is new, so these are not programme graduates. They are engineers Sakthi Prasanna K has mentored through earlier work.
Sakthi Prasanna’s mentorship changed my mindset and my career path. He was specific about what I was missing and what to do about it, and with his help I landed multiple offers in information security.
Durga Devi Karthikeyan
Information Security Analyst, ICON plc
Mentored through an earlier programme
I have known Sakthi for years as a natural mentor and leader. His clarity in coaching is unusual — he explains the reasoning, not just the answer, which is what makes it stick when you are the one on the incident.
Saravanan K
SOC Operations Manager, EY
Colleague and mentee
Sakthi Prasanna’s mentorship boosted both my confidence and my skills. His technical depth is real, and his guidance arrived at the moments it actually mattered rather than after the fact.
Sindhuja B
Senior Consultant, EY
Mentored through an earlier programme
I started with no prior cyber security knowledge. Sakthi Prasanna guided me step by step, and was honest with me about how far I had to go — which is why I trusted the direction he set.
Sharumathi Selvaraj
Security Engineer, Cyber Sec Consulting
