Terms and conditions
These terms govern your enrolment in CN-CAISE, the Cyber Nanban Certified AI Security Expert programme, and your use of this registration funnel. Please read them before you pay.
Some formal details — our registered entity particulars and the courts named for disputes — are being finalised. This policy applies as written in the meantime; email support@cybernanban.com for a signed copy.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and Cyber Nanban ("we", "us", "our"), the provider of the CN-CAISE programme, operating cybernanban.com.
By taking the assessment, registering, or paying for CN-CAISE, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms, the privacy policy and the refund policy.
Where these CN-CAISE terms differ from the general terms published elsewhere on cybernanban.com, these terms govern CN-CAISE. That includes refunds: see clause 8.
2. The words we use
- "Programme" means CN-CAISE, including its recorded lessons, live sessions, labs, mentoring, assessments and community access, as described on the site at the time you enrol.
- "Funnel" means the pages under /registration/ on this site: the assessment, your result, the offer, registration, payment and confirmation.
- "Track" means the learning path our assessment recommends to you — Beginner, Foundation, Professional or Fast Track.
- "Portal" means the learner portal at https://portal.cybernanban.com, where your account and course access live.
3. Who can enrol
You may enrol if you are 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law.
If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must enrol on your behalf, accept these terms, and provide their own contact details. We may ask for verification of that consent, and under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 we are required to obtain it before processing a child's personal data.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. If your email or phone number is wrong we cannot deliver your joining details, and we cannot reissue access to a different account later without verifying who you are.
4. What the programme is, and what it is not
CN-CAISE is a training programme in cyber security and AI security. It includes the curriculum, labs, mentoring and career preparation described on the site at the time of your enrolment.
We give career guidance, portfolio review, mock interviews and placement assistance.
We do not guarantee a job, an interview, a salary, a certification pass, or any particular outcome. Any salary figures shown in the funnel — including on your result page — are market estimates presented for orientation, are labelled as such, and are not a promise.
Your recommended track, timeline and suggested learning path are generated from the answers you give. They are guidance, not a contractual specification of the programme.
5. Enrolment and your seat
Submitting the registration form creates a registration record. It does not reserve a seat.
Your seat is confirmed when your payment succeeds and we send your confirmation to the email address on your registration.
We may decline or cancel an enrolment where the details given are false, where payment fails or is reversed, where a cohort is full, or where clause 11 applies. If we cancel an enrolment we have accepted, you get a full refund.
6. Fees, taxes and payment
The fee payable is the one shown on the offer and payment pages at the moment you pay, in Indian rupees.
A launch price is time-limited. The countdown on the offer page runs for 24 hours from your first visit to that page, is held in your browser, and does not restart if you reload. Once it has run out, the launch price is no longer available to you.
Taxes are shown at checkout before you pay, and your invoice itemises them.
Payments are taken by our payment provider on their own secure page. We do not see or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank credentials.
If a payment fails, no seat is confirmed and no money should leave your account. If money has left your account and you have no confirmation, contact us before paying again — do not pay twice.
Bank or card fees, currency conversion charges, and any charges from your own bank are yours.
7. Access, schedule and changes
Access is granted to the account and email address used at registration, through the portal.
Live sessions run to a published schedule. We may move a session, change a mentor, or reorder curriculum where we need to, and we will tell you in advance where we can.
We may update or improve course material at any time. Where a change materially reduces what you were sold, we will either restore it or offer you a refund of the affected part.
Your access is personal. Sharing your login, recording sessions, or redistributing material is a breach of these terms — see clauses 9 and 10.
8. Refunds
CN-CAISE does not currently advertise a refund guarantee of its own. Refunds are governed by the published site-wide terms at terms and conditions, and the refund policy records that position.
Nothing here removes rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 or any other law that cannot be contracted out of.
9. Your account and your conduct
Keep your login credentials to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them.
In sessions, labs and the community, behave decently. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, abuse of mentors or other learners, plagiarism, or sharing of paid material.
We may suspend or remove access for a serious or repeated breach. Where the breach is deliberate — sharing or reselling content, or using the labs to attack systems you do not own — we may terminate access without refund.
10. Lab safety and lawful use
This is offensive and defensive security training. The techniques taught can be criminal offences under the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita if used against systems without authorisation.
- Practise only inside the lab environments we provide, or on systems you own, or on systems whose owner has given you written permission.
- Do not attack, scan, or attempt to access any system belonging to us, to another learner, or to a third party, outside those bounds.
- Do not use programme material, credentials, tooling or infrastructure to commit an offence or to help anyone else commit one.
You are responsible for what you do with what you learn. Breaking this clause ends your access immediately, without refund, and we will cooperate with any lawful investigation.
11. Intellectual property
All programme material — recordings, slides, labs, exercises, assessments, notes and the assessment and recommendation logic in this funnel — belongs to Cyber Nanban or our licensors.
You get a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own learning for as long as your access lasts.
You may not copy, record, publish, resell, sublicense, translate or feed the material into a product or service, or use it to train a model, without our written permission.
Work you create yourself during the programme — your lab write-ups, your portfolio projects — is yours.
12. Suspension and termination
You can stop at any time. Whether you get money back is governed by the refund policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access where you breach these terms, where a payment is reversed, or where we are required to by law.
On termination your licence ends and you must stop using the material. Clauses on intellectual property, liability and governing law survive.
13. Certificates
A certificate of completion is issued when you have completed the requirements published for your track.
A certificate records that you completed our programme. It is not a licence, a government qualification, or an industry certification, and we do not present it as one.
14. Liability
We provide the programme with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for interruptions caused by your own connectivity, device, or a third-party platform outage outside our control.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the programme is limited to the fees you actually paid us for it.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost earnings, lost opportunity, or loss of data on your own devices.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you paid, and we keep the effective date and version number at the top of this page.
Where a change materially affects your rights and applies to an existing enrolment, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
Before going to court, please raise the matter with us — see clause 17. Most problems are faster to fix directly, and we would rather fix them.
